From daylight to table, three movements of summer

August 8 begins with intermittent sunshine and keeps the full character of summer throughout the day. Evening brings the day’s happy ending beside the pool. Between water holding the last light and the garden’s quiet, management recommends sliced Chianina beef with rocket and shavings of 24-month-aged grana cheese: a tangible conclusion, rooted in food and company, to an evening spent together.
